This model originates from Bucovina but was found far from home, far east, in the north of the Black Sea, in the early 1940's. It was brought back home by Anton Golopentia, during his special expedition. His mission was to trace down any sign of Romanian presence east from Bug and save it from the war that just started. For saving this blouse (and other objects that could stand as proofs) - in the end, he was jailed and paid with his own life. (Trying to escape a difficult situation back home, many Romanians migrated east in the 18th and 19th century, from all regions of Romania - to what looked like a promising future, a prosperous life on a rich land depopulated by wars.)
